Job Description
Are you a night owl looking for dynamic, hands-on work in the exciting world of live events? Live Nation Australia is seeking motivated and reliable Event Bumping Assistants to join our production team in Fremantle. This crucial role involves the physical setup and teardown of theatre and concert equipment, ensuring smooth transitions between performances and events. If you’re physically fit, a team player, and ready to contribute to electrifying live shows, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of theatre and stage equipment, including sound, lighting, and stage elements.
- Safely transport equipment to and from designated areas within event venues.
- Follow specific instructions from production managers and technicians for equipment placement and rigging.
- Maintain a tidy and organised workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the production crew to meet strict deadlines for event setup and breakdown.
- Perform tasks primarily during night hours, adapting to varying event schedules.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 25kg).
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for night shifts.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in event setup, warehousing, or manual labor roles.
- Forklift license or experience with similar machinery (not essential but a plus).
- First Aid certification.
- Experience working unsociable hours.
