Job Description
Are you passionate about education and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic primary school setting? The International School Cologne (ISC) is seeking a motivated Education Assistant Intern to support our dedicated primary school teachers and contribute to a positive learning environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to observe and participate in classroom activities, assist with educational tasks, and develop valuable skills in international education.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist primary school teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
- Support students individually or in small groups under teacher supervision.
- Help organize learning materials and maintain an orderly classroom environment.
- Observe teaching methods and classroom management strategies.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as needed.
- Provide administrative support to teachers, such as photocopying or filing.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for education and working with young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of an additional language, especially German.
- Familiarity with international curricula.
