Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented E-commerce Data Specialist to join our growing digital team in Port Macquarie. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for tracking sales performance, identifying key e-commerce trends, and providing actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and optimize our online store’s success. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to understand customer behavior, improve product offerings, and enhance the overall online shopping experience for millions of Australians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key e-commerce performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, traffic, and customer engagement.
  • Identify and interpret e-commerce trends, patterns, and opportunities to inform business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into customer behavior, product performance, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to implement data-driven solutions and A/B tests.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across various e-commerce platforms and analytical tools.
  • Provide recommendations for website optimization, personalization strategies, and inventory management based on data insights.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in e-commerce data analysis or a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency with e-commerce analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce KPIs and metrics.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
