Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented E-commerce Chat Specialist to join our fast-growing customer service team in Launceston. This immediate start role is perfect for someone passionate about online retail and dedicated to providing outstanding support to our customers through live chat channels. As a Chat Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, providing product information, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in real-time via live chat, providing prompt and professional assistance.
- Resolve customer inquiries related to orders, products, shipping, returns, and technical support.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, promotions, and company policies.
- Identify and escalate complex issues to senior specialists or relevant departments.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and strive for first-contact resolution.
- Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our chat support processes and knowledge base.
- Collaborate with other customer service team members to ensure a cohesive support experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role, preferably in an e-commerce or online environment.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency in using live chat software and CRM systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- High level of empathy and patience when dealing with customer concerns.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online shopping processes.
