Job Description
Join Toll Group as a Container Unloader in Mount Gambier! We are seeking motivated and physically fit individuals to join our dynamic warehousing team. This is a full-time position offering top Aussie pay for dedicated manual labour. As a Container Unloader, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods through our facility. Your primary role will involve manually unloading containers, sorting freight, and preparing items for storage or onward distribution. We are looking for reliable team players with a strong work ethic who are ready to contribute to a critical part of our logistics operation. Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload a variety of goods from shipping containers efficiently and safely.
- Sort and segregate freight according to company procedures and destination.
- Stack and palletise items accurately, ensuring stability and safety.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment as required (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all WHS guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily unloading targets.
- Report any damaged goods or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items repeatedly.
- Reliability and excellent attendance record.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manual labour role.
- Current forklift license (LF Class) or willingness to obtain one.
- First Aid certification.
