Job Description
Lendlease is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our construction team as Labourers in Fremantle, Western Australia. This is an incredible opportunity for those with no prior experience in construction to kickstart a rewarding career. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, ensuring you gain valuable skills and knowledge while contributing to significant projects. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks on site, including carpentry, concreting, and general site work.
- Perform manual labour duties such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic hand tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing regular site clean-up and waste removal.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and site regulations at all times.
- Support the setup and dismantling of equipment and temporary structures.
- Help with the loading and unloading of construction materials.
- Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
- No prior construction experience required – full training provided!
- Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) – preferred but can be obtained with assistance upon hire.
- Basic understanding of construction site environments.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
