Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our dedicated team in Murray Bridge, South Australia. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems across a variety of client sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and service on commercial refrigeration equipment, including chillers, freezers, display cases, and cold rooms.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration systems.
- Carry out repairs, component replacements, and system adjustments as required.
- Install new refrigeration equipment and ensure proper commissioning.
- Conduct refrigerant recovery, recycling, and charging in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients on system operation and maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Technician.
- Current ARCtick license or equivalent refrigeration handling license.
- Solid understanding of commercial refrigeration cycles, components, and controls.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Experience with various brands and types of commercial refrigeration systems (e.g., supermarket refrigeration, industrial cooling).
- HVAC experience is a plus.
