Job Description

We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Guest Experience Host to join our team on a part-time day roster at Macdonald Warwick Resort. This role is crucial in creating an outstanding first impression and ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and memorable stay from arrival to departure. You will be the face of our resort, responsible for a range of front-of-house duties, providing a personalized and attentive service to every guest. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and provide comprehensive information about resort facilities, local attractions, and services.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism and efficiency, escalating when necessary.
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using our property management system.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Coordinate with various departments (Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Concierge) to fulfill guest needs promptly.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Promote resort services and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Adhere to all resort policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills; familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to work on a part-time day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Immaculate presentation and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality, hotel, or resort front-of-house role.
  • Knowledge of the Warwick and Warwickshire area and local attractions.
  • Additional language skills are highly advantageous.
  • A qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field.
