Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Clean Tech Technician to join our growing team in Port Adelaide. This role is crucial for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various green technology systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our renewable energy assets, contributing directly to Australia’s transition to a sustainable energy future. Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of clean energy systems, including solar panels, battery storage, and associated electrical components.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies for all on-site work.
- Complete accurate documentation of all maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and project managers to support new installations and system upgrades.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an electrical or clean technology technician.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Electrotechnology).
- Experience with solar PV systems, battery storage, or other renewable energy technologies.
- Working at Heights certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
