Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Cheese Wrapper to join our production team in Launceston, Tasmania. This full-time role involves routine work primarily focused on the packaging of various cheese products. If you enjoy hands-on work, have keen attention to detail, and appreciate having your afternoons free, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery for cheese products.
- Inspect cheese for quality and consistency before packaging.
- Accurately wrap, label, and box cheese according to product specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or product quality issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
