Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Casual General Hand to join our team in Salisbury. This role offers flexible working days, making it ideal for individuals looking for adaptable schedules. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the smooth operation of our store, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment for both customers and colleagues. We’re looking for someone who can start immediately and adapt quickly to different tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general store maintenance and cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and tidying aisles.
- Support with stock rotation, shelf replenishment, and ensuring products are well-presented.
- Handle deliveries, including unloading, checking, and moving goods to designated areas.
- Operate basic equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, cleaning machinery) after receiving training.
- Provide basic assistance to customers and colleagues as needed, maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as directed by store management.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
