Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Technician to join our state-of-the-art laboratory in Bendigo. In this laboratory-based role, you will be instrumental in fabricating a wide range of dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced dental technology and contribute to patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and finish various dental prosthetics including crowns, bridges, dentures, and veneers.
  • Utilise CAD/CAM software and equipment for design and milling processes.
  • Work with a variety of materials such as ceramics, zirconia, and acrylics.
  • Perform quality control checks on all completed work to ensure accuracy and aesthetic standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with dentists and other laboratory staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Dental Technician, preferably in a laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency in dental anatomy and occlusion.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM dental systems and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Relevant qualification in Dental Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced diploma or degree in Dental Technology.
  • Experience with specific dental software (e.g., Exocad, 3Shape).
