Job Description
Are you looking for a casual role with immediate start in Carnarvon? Stinson Air & Solar is seeking motivated and reliable Air Con Offsiders to join our team for the busy summer peak season. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC industry, assisting our skilled technicians with installations, maintenance, and repairs. If you’re physically fit, a quick learner, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified air conditioning technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Carry and transport equipment, tools, and materials to and from work sites.
- Prepare work areas, including setting up safety barriers and protecting client property.
- Clean up work sites thoroughly after job completion, ensuring high standards of tidiness.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Assist with basic tool handling and site organization.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices (White Card highly regarded, or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
- Willingness to work flexible casual day shifts, especially during the summer peak season.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labouring, trade assistant, or similar physical role.
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in the HVAC industry.
- Forklift license (desirable but not essential).
- First Aid certification.
