Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and customer-focused individual looking for flexible weekend work with great pay? Delaware North Australia is seeking enthusiastic ‘Weekend Warriors’ to join our casual event staff team in Belconnen. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, contributing to the success of a variety of events. Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Assist with event setup and pack down, including preparing event spaces and equipment.
- Serve food and beverages responsibly and efficiently, ensuring high standards of presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas and guest facilities.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth event operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and professionally.
Required Skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a passion for creating positive experiences.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to working scheduled weekend shifts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic event environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and move quickly.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, or customer service roles.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
