Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team in Hervey Bay. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management and content strategy within a leading Australian company. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of social media content calendars across various platforms.
  • Research trending topics, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform content strategy.
  • Draft engaging copy and source visuals for social media posts, blog articles, and other marketing materials.
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and assist in community management.
  • Support the team in analyzing social media performance data and generating reports.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new marketing campaigns and content ideas.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the marketing department.

Required Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok).
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
