Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Hotel Maintenance Helper to join our dedicated engineering team at Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in hotel maintenance, offering hands-on experience across a variety of tasks and comprehensive tool training. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior maintenance staff with routine repairs and preventative maintenance tasks across the hotel property.
- Perform basic maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and minor painting.
- Help with the installation and repair of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems under supervision.
- Learn to use and maintain various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct daily checks of equipment and facilities, reporting any issues or malfunctions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance workshops and storage areas.
- Respond to guest requests for maintenance services in a timely and courteous manner.
- Support in moving and setting up furniture or equipment as needed for events or room changes.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
