Job Description
Join Toll Group as a Freight Handler in Tuggeranong, ACT. This is a full-time position with consistent morning hours from Monday to Friday, perfect for those seeking a stable schedule. As a vital part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of freight within our depot, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Prior experience is a plus, but we are also open to motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading freight from trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
- Sorting and scanning packages, ensuring accurate tracking and distribution.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Organizing freight within the depot for optimal space utilization.
- Performing pre-shift equipment checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
