Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and passionate Artist Liaison to join our Festivals & Events team based in Salisbury. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all artists performing at our various festivals and events. You will be the primary point of contact for artists and their management, coordinating all aspects of their on-site needs, from travel and accommodation to technical requirements and hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in event coordination and a love for live music.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for artists, their management, and crew prior to and during festivals/events.
  • Coordinate all artist logistics including travel, accommodation, local transport, and accreditation.
  • Manage artist riders, ensuring all backstage requirements for hospitality, technical specifications, and dressing room setups are met.
  • Work closely with production, stage management, and security teams to ensure smooth artist transitions and performances.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues or requests from artists promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate budgets for artist-related expenses and process invoices.
  • Prepare detailed artist schedules and communicate them effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Foster positive relationships with artists, agents, and management to enhance future collaborations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in artist relations, event management, or hospitality, preferably within the music or festival industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be available to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, especially during event periods.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Music Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Experience with large-scale festival operations.
  • Familiarity with various music genres and artist requirements.
  • First Aid certification.
