Job Description
Join Costa Group as a Mushroom Picker at our advanced indoor farming facility in Durack, Northern Territory. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity for individuals seeking stable employment in a supportive team environment. You will be responsible for the careful harvesting of mushrooms, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. We are looking for diligent individuals who are reliable, attentive to detail, and thrive in a structured agricultural setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully harvest mushrooms according to quality guidelines and picking schedules.
- Identify and sort mushrooms by size, quality, and type.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the growing rooms.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Report any issues with crops or equipment to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation.
