Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Ibis Styles Mount Isa. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start or further their career in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience from check-in to check-out. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle reservations accurately.
- Provide guests with information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a tidy and organised front desk and lobby area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform administrative tasks as required, including data entry and report generation.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Reliability and punctuality.
