Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of all passengers and crew during flights, adhering strictly to aviation regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to passenger needs and inquiries with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Serve food and beverages, manage in-flight sales, and assist passengers with cabin amenities.
- Perform pre-flight safety checks of cabin equipment and ensure the cabin is prepared for departure.
- Handle unexpected situations and emergencies calmly and effectively, following established procedures.
- Work collaboratively with pilots, ground staff, and fellow cabin crew members to ensure smooth flight operations.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and uniform adherence.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarkation, including those requiring special assistance.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and reports accurately and promptly.
Required Skills
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency with unrestricted working rights.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to swim 50 meters unassisted.
- Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- High level of personal responsibility and reliability.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, and to be away from home for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., hospitality, retail, tourism).
- Proficiency in a second language.
- Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
