Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Cardboard Recycler in Kalgoorlie. This is an immediate start, full-time position with comprehensive on-the-job training provided. Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate cardboard materials from other waste streams.
- Operate recycling equipment such as balers and compactors (after training).
- Load and unload materials from sorting lines and designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with general site clean-up and maintenance tasks.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily recycling targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate sorting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to working safely and following all company protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Driver's License (desirable but not essential).
- Prior experience in a warehouse or industrial setting (any experience beneficial but not required).
