Job Description
Are you a bundle of energy with a passion for creating magical moments? PCYC Mount Isa is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Party Host to lead our children’s birthday parties! If you love working with kids, have a knack for making every celebration special, and can keep the excitement levels high, we want you! This role involves supervising party activities, engaging with children and their families, ensuring a safe and fun environment, and making sure every birthday child feels like a superstar. Join our team and help us deliver memorable experiences!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise children's birthday parties from start to finish.
- Engage with party guests through games, activities, and energetic interaction.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children throughout the party.
- Set up and clean up party areas, including decorations and activity stations.
- Coordinate with parents/guardians to ensure party requirements are met.
- Maintain a positive, fun, and inclusive atmosphere.
- Handle minor incidents or first aid requirements calmly and professionally (training provided if needed).
Required Skills
- Demonstrated high energy and enthusiasm for working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage groups of children effectively and safely.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for scheduled party times.
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one immediately).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a party host, childcare, or entertainment role.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of children's games and party activities.
- A creative flair for themed parties.
