Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Insights Assistant to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify key trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and summaries for stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and special projects.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and reports.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Foundational understanding of data analysis principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Prior experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role, preferably within financial services.
- Exposure to statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
