Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely, ensuring all dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils are spotless.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and storage spaces, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
  • Assist with the proper storage and rotation of food supplies and equipment.
  • Support the culinary team by ensuring a steady supply of clean cookware and assisting with basic food preparation tasks when needed.
  • Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with established procedures.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to a supervisor.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness principles (training provided).
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role (not mandatory, but a plus).
  • Current Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one upon employment).
