Job Description

Are you a night owl looking for an opportunity to kickstart your career? Ampol is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Service Station Attendants at our Bowen location. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training! This is an excellent chance for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, committed to providing great customer service, and comfortable with night shifts. You will be a vital part of our operations, ensuring our customers have a smooth and positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with fuel purchases and convenience store transactions.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments.
  • Monitor fuel pumps, manage stock, and assist with merchandising in the convenience store.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the service station, including forecourt, store, and restrooms.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security procedures, particularly during night shifts.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Conduct regular checks of equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures as required for night shift operations.
