Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Garden Maintenance Hand to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to the beauty of our public spaces. You will be responsible for a variety of horticultural tasks, ensuring our parks, gardens, and streetscapes are well-maintained and presentable. No prior experience is necessary as all tools and training will be provided. We value a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. This role involves physical outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general garden maintenance tasks including planting, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
- Operate and maintain a variety of gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with irrigation system checks and basic repairs.
- Undertake mowing, edging, and general turf care.
- Remove green waste and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
