Job Description

Cultural Care Au Pair is seeking a warm, responsible, and energetic individual to join a welcoming host family in Taree, NSW, Australia, as a live-in au pair. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reliable and loving childcare for children, assisting with daily routines such as meals, playtime, and bedtime.
  • Engage children in educational and recreational activities appropriate for their age.
  • Assist with light household duties related to the children, including tidying play areas, children's laundry, and preparing simple meals.
  • Drive children to and from school, activities, and appointments as needed.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with host parents regarding the children's well-being and daily activities.
  • Participate in family life and contribute positively to the household atmosphere.
  • Adhere to agreed-upon schedules and responsibilities.

Required Skills

  • Genuine love for children and prior childcare experience (babysitting, volunteering, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Responsible, reliable, and mature attitude.
  • Positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic personality.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to commit to a cultural exchange program for 6-12 months.
  • Ability to obtain necessary visa and background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience with specific age groups (e.g., toddlers, school-aged children).
  • Swimming proficiency.
  • Non-smoker.
  • Ages 18-26 (for specific visa eligibility).
