Job Description

Cultural Care Au Pair is seeking a warm, responsible, and energetic individual to join a welcoming host family in Taree, NSW, Australia, as a live-in au pair. This unique opportunity offers full room and board, a weekly stipend, and the chance to immerse yourself in Australian culture while providing dedicated childcare. Key Responsibilities
- Provide reliable and loving childcare for children, assisting with daily routines such as meals, playtime, and bedtime.
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities appropriate for their age.
- Assist with light household duties related to the children, including tidying play areas, children's laundry, and preparing simple meals.
- Drive children to and from school, activities, and appointments as needed.
- Maintain open and clear communication with host parents regarding the children's well-being and daily activities.
- Participate in family life and contribute positively to the household atmosphere.
- Adhere to agreed-upon schedules and responsibilities.
Required Skills
- Genuine love for children and prior childcare experience (babysitting, volunteering, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Responsible, reliable, and mature attitude.
- Positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic personality.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to commit to a cultural exchange program for 6-12 months.
- Ability to obtain necessary visa and background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience with specific age groups (e.g., toddlers, school-aged children).
- Swimming proficiency.
- Non-smoker.
- Ages 18-26 (for specific visa eligibility).
