Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Palletizer Operator Assistant to join our dynamic team in Gillman, SA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in warehousing and logistics, with no prior experience required as full on-site training will be provided. As an Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate stacking and preparation of goods for dispatch, working alongside experienced operators in a day shift environment. Your dedication to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Palletizer Operators in the manual and automated stacking of products onto pallets.
- Ensure products are stacked according to specified patterns and safety guidelines.
- Wrap and secure loaded pallets for transport, ensuring stability and integrity.
- Perform routine checks on palletizing equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support inventory management activities as directed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.
