Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Support Staff to join our Mildura distribution centre on a part-time basis for day shifts. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving a variety of tasks from stock handling to ensuring a tidy and safe working environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring accuracy and careful handling.
- Organise and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
- Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning, tidying, and waste removal.
- Conduct routine checks of warehouse equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and operational procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (not essential, but a plus).
- Current forklift license (LF) or a willingness to obtain one (company may assist).
- Understanding of basic inventory management principles.
