Job Description
We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Support Staff to join our Burnie team for part-time day shifts. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations, ensuring timely processing of goods, and contributing to a safe and organised work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, adhering to quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trolleys safely (training provided if necessary).
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and operational policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move items up to 20kg safely and repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Current Forklift (LF) license or willingness to obtain one.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- First Aid certification.
