Job Description

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Support Staff to join our Burnie team for part-time day shifts. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations, ensuring timely processing of goods, and contributing to a safe and organised work environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, adhering to quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and cycle counting.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trolleys safely (training provided if necessary).
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations and operational policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move items up to 20kg safely and repeatedly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Current Forklift (LF) license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • First Aid certification.
