Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Afternoon Production Hands to join our manufacturing team in Burnie on a casual basis. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of production and the high quality of our dairy products. You will be involved in various stages of the production process, contributing to a busy and dynamic factory environment. Ideal candidates will be physically fit, attentive to detail, and committed to upholding our stringent safety and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment under supervision.
- Perform general labouring duties, including lifting, packing, and moving products.
- Conduct quality checks on products throughout the production line.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished goods.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with HACCP and OHS standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production targets.
- Assist in changeovers and other production line adjustments as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle physically demanding work (e.g., lifting up to 20kg).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene standards.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or food processing environment.

- Current forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
