Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises during night shifts, ensuring all areas are secure.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms for unusual activity, responding promptly to alerts.
• Respond effectively to security incidents and emergencies according to established protocols and procedures.
• Log all activities, incidents, and observations in detailed and accurate reports.
• Enforce site rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or other illicit activities.
• Provide a visible security presence to deter potential threats and ensure a sense of safety.
• Collaborate with team members, management, and emergency services as needed during incidents.
• Ensure all security equipment is functional and report any malfunctions or defects immediately.

Required Skills

• Excellent observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effective reporting and interaction.
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic, especially for night shifts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy for report writing, email communication, and system monitoring.
• Willingness to undergo and successfully complete comprehensive security training.
• Must possess full legal working rights in Australia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the site.
• Previous experience in customer service or public-facing roles.
