Job Description
Join ISS Facility Services as a Window Cleaning Assistant for casual day work in Melbourne’s Central Business District (CBD). This role involves providing essential window cleaning services to commercial buildings, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the upkeep of prestigious city properties. We are looking for reliable individuals who are committed to safety and quality work. While experience is a plus, comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform window cleaning tasks on commercial buildings using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Safely operate and maintain window cleaning equipment, including squeegees, scrubbers, and extension poles.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines for working at heights and handling chemicals.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team to complete assigned routes and schedules.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy upon completion of tasks.
- Provide excellent service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and the public.

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in window cleaning or a similar physical role.
- Current Working at Heights certification.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
