Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and efficient Voice Pickers to join our Distribution Centre team in Ballina, NSW, for ongoing full-time work. As a Voice Picker, you will be an integral part of our supply chain, responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and packing orders using a voice-activated headset system. This role is crucial in ensuring our stores receive the right products at the right time, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Operate voice-picking technology to accurately locate and retrieve products within the distribution centre.
- Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch according to company standards and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required, including loading, unloading, and stocktaking.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting and moving various products throughout shifts.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre setting.
- Familiarity with voice picking systems or other inventory management technology.
- Current forklift license (LF or LO) is a plus, but not essential for this role.
