Job Description

Join Canva as a Virtual Community Support Lead and become the driving force behind our user engagement efforts. This fully remote role involves leading a team dedicated to fostering a positive, interactive, and helpful online community for millions of global users. You will be responsible for developing strategies to enhance user satisfaction, resolve issues, and cultivate a thriving environment where creativity flourishes. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of virtual community support specialists.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction across various online channels.
  • Monitor community health, identify trends, and proactively address potential issues or conflicts.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to relay user feedback and inform product improvements.
  • Create and manage content for community FAQs, guidelines, and support resources.
  • Organize and facilitate online events, discussions, and initiatives to foster community growth.
  • Analyze community data and metrics to report on performance and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in online community management or customer support leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a remote team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to conflict resolution.
  • Familiarity with online community platforms and tools (e.g., forums, social media, ticketing systems).
  • Demonstrated passion for building and nurturing online communities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology or SaaS environment.
