Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Launceston team as a Casual Stock Replenishment team member for our evening roster. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring our shelves are well-stocked, organised, and appealing to customers. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to working effectively within a team during evening hours to prepare the store for the next day’s trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently replenish stock on shelves, ensuring correct placement and rotation.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised store environment, particularly in aisles and storage areas.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries.
- Check product dates and remove expired or damaged items.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely (training provided if needed).
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and store policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily stocking targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work an evening roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items regularly.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Experience with stock replenishment or inventory management.
