Job Description

Lendlease is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry Level Site Marshall to join our team in Bowen, Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience to learn the ropes of site safety, compliance, and operational support from the ground up. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily inspection of work sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor site access and egress, ensuring all personnel and visitors adhere to entry and exit procedures.
  • Support the Site Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining safety management systems.
  • Distribute and manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to site personnel.
  • Conduct safety inductions for new workers and visitors, explaining site-specific rules and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety checks, incidents, and equipment logs.
  • Assist with site traffic management and pedestrian safety.
  • Respond to minor incidents and assist with emergency response procedures as directed.
  • Promote a positive safety culture among all site personnel.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety principles (training provided).
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving.
  • Physical fitness to perform site-based duties.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current C-Class Driver's License.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
  • Previous experience in a role requiring adherence to strict procedures.
