Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Seafood Process Workers in our coastal facility. This role is crucial to our operations, involving various stages of seafood processing from preparation to packaging. You will work as part of a dynamic team, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, quality, and efficiency. This is a full-time position offering stable work and weekly pay in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various tasks related to seafood processing, including gutting, filleting, trimming, and sorting of fish.
  • Operate and maintain processing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
  • Assist with packing and labelling of seafood products for dispatch.
  • Clean and sanitise work areas and equipment regularly.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a seafood processing, food manufacturing, or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP or other food safety systems.
  • Forklift licence (advantageous, but not essential).
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or early mornings if required.
