Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and security-conscious Passport Production Officer to join our team in Cape Town. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the precise and secure production of highly sensitive identity documents, specifically passports, within a controlled and high-security environment. You will operate specialized machinery, perform rigorous quality control, and ensure strict adherence to all security protocols and production standards. This position demands exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of national security documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain specialized passport production equipment, including personalization and assembly machinery.
- Execute all stages of passport production with extreme precision and accuracy, following established procedures.
- Perform comprehensive quality control checks on finished passports to ensure compliance with national and international standards.
- Handle sensitive materials and data with utmost care and in strict adherence to security protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and inventory of materials.
- Adhere to all facility security regulations, including access control, data protection, and incident reporting.
- Participate in regular security audits and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflow and meet output targets.
