Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start in a dynamic and essential industry? Woolworths Group is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Stanthorpe team as Mobile Order Pickers. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed. This role is crucial for ensuring our stores are well-stocked and our customers receive the products they need. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using a mobile scanning device or paper pick lists.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or trolleys (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as required.
- Work efficiently to meet daily productivity targets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20kg repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment (even if not as an order picker).
- Forklift license (though not required for the initial role, it's a plus for future development).
- Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport.
