Job Description
Are you looking for a fun, energetic, and rewarding way to spend your summer holidays? Gelato Messina in Kingston is seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Servers to join our team for the upcoming summer season. This is a perfect opportunity for students or anyone seeking a lively part-time role. You’ll be the face of Messina, scooping delicious gelato, serving happy customers, and helping create memorable experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, scooping and preparing gelato, sorbet, and other dessert items.
- Operate the POS system and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the store, including serving areas, display cabinets, and equipment.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring product availability.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions about products and ingredients.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store.
