Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Ticketing Officer to join our transit system team in Salisbury. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for our passengers, primarily by managing ticket sales, providing accurate information, and handling passenger inquiries. Key Responsibilities
- Process and issue various types of tickets, passes, and travel cards accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring all financial procedures are followed and reconciled daily.
- Provide comprehensive information to passengers regarding routes, schedules, fares, and service updates.
- Assist passengers with inquiries, offering polite and helpful guidance to ensure a positive travel experience.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally, escalating complex situations when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure working environment at the ticketing counter.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
