Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Glassies to join our dynamic team for night shifts. As a Glassie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation and cleanliness of our bars and club areas, ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love working as part of a high-energy team, and are available for night and weekend shifts, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently collect, wash, and return glassware to designated bar areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of bar tops, floors, and general lounge areas.
- Assist bartenders with restocking fridges, ice, and other supplies as needed.
- Ensure the back-of-house areas are organised and meet hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with bar staff to anticipate needs and maintain service flow.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with general cleaning duties as required at the end of shifts.
Required Skills
- High level of energy and physical stamina for fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.
