Job Description
Are you a proactive and organised individual looking for a vital role in a fast-paced retail environment? Tesco is seeking a dedicated Retail Receiving Hand to join our team in Horsham. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of incoming goods, ensuring stock is processed and moved to the sales floor or storage areas promptly. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries against manifests and purchase orders.
- Verify product quantities and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
- Organise and store received goods efficiently in designated stockroom areas.
- Assist with moving stock to the sales floor, ensuring products are ready for display.
- Operate pallet jacks, roll cages, and other relevant equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company health, safety, and security procedures.
- Collaborate with sales floor staff to ensure timely stock replenishment.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly.
