Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to kickstart your career in manufacturing? Advance Plastics is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as an Injection Moulding Loader. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training! If you’re a reliable team player with a strong work ethic and the flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster, we want to hear from you. Join us and become a vital part of our production team, contributing to the creation of essential plastic components.
Key Responsibilities
- Load raw materials (plastic pellets, colourants) into injection moulding machines efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure continuous production flow and identify any potential issues.
- Perform basic visual quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Assist with material handling, including moving raw materials and finished goods to designated areas.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area around the injection moulding machines.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team, working on a 24/7 rotating roster which includes nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move materials (up to 25kg) as required.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and commitment to shift schedules.
- Willingness to learn new processes and procedures quickly.
- Ability to work effectively and safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety regulations.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in any manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage, but not essential.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or understanding of machinery.
- Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one through company support).
