Job Description

Are you a night owl looking for a dynamic role in a bustling social environment? St Marys Band Club is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Glass Collector to join our energetic team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy contributing to a great atmosphere. You’ll be crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and flow of our main entertainment areas, ensuring our patrons have a seamless and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect empty glasses and bottles from tables, bar areas, and throughout the club floor promptly and efficiently.
  • Return collected items to designated washing areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of public areas, including wiping down tables and clearing minor spills.
  • Assist bar staff with restocking and general setup/pack-down as required.
  • Report any breakages or safety hazards to management immediately.
  • Adhere to all club policies and procedures, including responsible service of alcohol guidelines.
  • Interact with patrons in a friendly and respectful manner, contributing positively to their experience.
  • Work effectively as part of a team during busy periods.

  • Ability to work late nights and weekends as per a rotating roster.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is an advantage but not essential.
  • Current NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) competency card, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Familiarity with club or pub environments.
