Job Description
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and eager to start your career in the hospitality industry? The Beachfront Bistro & Bar is actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic front-of-house team as Waitstaff. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with no prior experience, as we are committed to providing a comprehensive, full-service training program. You will learn everything from greeting guests and taking orders to serving food and beverages with professionalism and charm, all while contributing to our goal of creating memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and seating guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
- Presenting menus knowledgeably and providing detailed information on daily specials, dish ingredients, and beverage options.
- Taking accurate food and drink orders efficiently and politely.
- Serving food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and responding to requests proactively.
- Handling payments and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables and service stations.
- Collaborating effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and coordinated service delivery.
