Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Data Coordinator to join our team in Maitland, NSW. This role is pivotal in supporting our civil and mining projects by managing, analysing, and reporting on critical operational data. You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, preparing reports, and providing insights that drive efficient project execution and decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, compile, and manage operational data from various project sites and systems.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all collected data.
- Develop and maintain robust data management systems and procedures.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on project performance, operational metrics, and safety statistics.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to gather necessary information.
- Identify data discrepancies and work proactively to resolve them.
- Assist in the analysis of operational trends to provide actionable insights.
- Support the implementation of new data collection tools and processes.
- Adhere to company data governance policies and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data coordination, data entry, or data management roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with database management software (e.g., SQL, Access) is highly regarded.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working within the civil construction or mining sectors.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
