Job Description
Are you looking for a hands-on career where you can learn a valuable trade from the ground up? Poolwerx Port Augusta is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Pool Maintenance Trainee to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to develop expertise in swimming pool and spa maintenance. You’ll receive comprehensive on-the-job training, working alongside experienced technicians to master all aspects of pool care, from water chemistry to equipment troubleshooting. No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to learn and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with routine pool and spa maintenance tasks.
- Learn to test and balance water chemistry accurately.
- Perform basic cleaning duties including brushing, skimming, and vacuuming pools.
- Help with the inspection and minor repair of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and chemicals used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Load and unload service vehicles with necessary equipment and supplies.
